About

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up during Apartheid. If that wasn’t enough, I had a dysfunctional family that made it feel like I was raised by the wolves. As a result, I found comfort in my pets, a very ugly black dog of a nondescript breed and a large fluffy white cat, as well as a menagerie of stuffed animals. So began my life long love of animals and furry objects. I love painting and enjoy weaving a mix of more realistic subjects with abstract mark making. I work in both oil painting and installation, often creating large scale fake fur rooms.
