CONDITIONS FOR LOVE PROJECT

 

"Conditions for Love" is a project examining the concept of "love" and whether it is socially constructed or really exists, and the conditions that influence it. To explore this further, I am inviting the public to contribute with their ideas, what you think love is, whether you have experienced it and as I am an artist, I want visual evidence. I will be recording my thoughts and discoveries in a sketch book and travelling to different destinations to see whether this influences what I find. As I am based in Melbourne, Australia, I am starting the project here and will be travelling to Venice in early October to see what that city holds for me. My plan is to visit several different destinations and continue the project over a period of time, culminating in (hopefully) some sort of exhibition where parts of the text, sketch books and other works I feel inspired to make are displayed.
